You can now also register your newborn child online in the primary healthcare system (polyclinic). This information has been announced by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia:

 

«If you are a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, to register your newborn online at a medical organization providing primary healthcare services located in the area of your registration address, you need to access the system through the «YesEm» national identification platform. After clicking the «Continue» button and completing the identification process, you should select the institution and the doctor.

 

The father, who is married to the child's mother, can only register the child online; in the case of the mother, being married is not mandatory.

 

The birth of the newborn must be registered before registering them at the medical organization.

If the addresses for the newborn's registration and actual residence are not the same, the service can only be accessed by physically visiting the medical organization located in the area of the residence address (region).

The registration of the newborn at the medical organization is done immediately.

 

Within a few days after registration, the family doctor must contact the parent for a home visit.
